Works closely with drivers to
ensure all of their questions are answered and needs are met.
Accurately communicates routing information and directions to drivers to
ensure that loads are delivered properly and on time.
Tracks driver location, status and availability for potential loads.
Follows up with customer service rep regularly as to the status of load
deliveries to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Works closely with Customer Service Representatives and drivers to
determine causes of and effective solutions to problems.
Quickly and efficiently resolves conflicts with drivers regarding delivery,
scheduling, downtime and other customer related issues. Coordinates with
Customer Service Representatives and Managers to ensure smooth transactions
between drivers and customers.
Assigns and schedules drivers and trucks for each customer commitment and
ensures that all runs have drivers assigned.
Ensures that all information entered into computer systems is accurate and
error free.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication
skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high pressure fast paced work
environment.
Superior problem solving skills a must.
Excellent computer and typing skills required and experience working with
TMW software preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year Driver Manager experience and 3 years working in the
transportation industry required.

Regularly communicates with
customers to gauge customer satisfaction, answers customer concerns
quickly, follows up on issues or concerns immediately and works to ensure
customer satisfaction through creative problem solving techniques.
Works closely with Driver Managers and customers to determine causes of and
effective solutions to problems.
Coordinates with Fleet Managers and Driver Managers to ensure all customer
commitments are fulfilled.
Communicates with customers, Fleet Managers and Driver Managers, keeping
them up to date as to the status of deliveries.
Assists Driver Managers to resolve problems positively, including
utilization of resources and scheduling issues.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Above average writing, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high pressure fast paced work
environment.
Excellent computer and typing skills required, experience working with TMW
software preferred.
Superior problem solving skills a must.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience. Experience working in the
transportation industry preferred.
